NEW YORK –On Sunday, Jan.12, the No. 9 Columbia women's squash team capped a busy weekend with a 8-1 victory over No. 11 Brown on its home courts of SL Green StreetSquash. The Lions took on the Bears in its third straight match in as many days and grabbed its first Ivy League win of the season. Columbia improves to 4-3 overall and 1-2 in conference play.

The Lions saw four players sweep their opponents, including Colette Sultana at the #1 position (11-6, 11-5, 11-7), Maya Patel at #3 (11-9, 13-11, 11-8), Reyna Pacheco at #4 (11-8, 11-4, 11-6) and Addie Fulton at #7 (11-7, 11-9, 11-7).

Up next, the Lions will travel to Yale University for pair of road matches next weekend against No. 7 Stanford on Friday, Jan. 16 at 5 p.m. and No. 16 Middlebury on Saturday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m.
