New Haven, Conn. –For the first time since opening weekend, the No. 9 Columbia women's squash team posted back-to-back wins in as many days after a 7-2 victory over No. 16 Middlebury on Saturday, Jan. 17. The Lions returned to the courts at Yale University for the morning match to defeat the Pantthers and improve to 6-3 on the season.
Both Reyna Pacheco at #4 and Leah Barnet at #7, grabbed 3-0 wins for the second straight match this weekend. Joining them with sweeps against the Panthers were Catherine Jenkins at #2, Alisha Maity at #5 and Kate Calihan at #8.
Up next, the Lions will play its final non-conference match of the regular season on the road at No. 7 George Washington on Sunday, Jan. 25 at 12 p.m.
