Lo Agrees to Terms with Brose Bamberg

BAMBERG, Germany – Former Columbia University men's basketball standout Maodo Lo reached a three-year agreement with Brose Bamberg Baskets of the German Beko Basketball League and Euroleague.
Lo recently wrapped up a stint playing for the Philadelphia 76ers summer league squad in Utah and Las Vegas where he averaged 7.9 points, on 46.2 percent shooting from the floor, and 2.4 rebounds in seven games.
"I am excited to start my professional career in Bamberg,” Lo told the team's official website. “I am aware of the challenges. I am motivated, willing to work hard to learn and improve myself. I hope to play successfully with the team and help them the best that I can."
Columbia's most prolific 3-point shooter, Lo is currently working with the German national team as they prepare for the European Championship qualifiers in September. Lo will begin his first professional season with Brose Bamberg in October.
