Dugel comes to Columbia as the first recruited squash player from Arizona in the Ivy League. A four-time US Squash Scholar Athlete recipient, Dugel has exemplified excellence on and off the court. In her rookie season she earned a third-place finish at the GU17 Silver Nationals and competed in the GU19 Gold Nationals in her junior season.
The Columbia blue and white runs deep with Dugel, as her father Pravin Dugel '84CC played for the Columbia squash club team from 1980-84.

A three-sport athlete, Horwitz was dynamic contributor to The Baldwin School's varsity squash team. In 2015 she helped lead the Polar Bears to capture their first High School National Championship by winning the deciding match at the No. 4 position. Horwitz was also a part of four Mid-Atlantic Squash Association (MASAS) Championships by the team (2012, 2013, 2014, 2016), which lead to All-MASA first team honors in her junior and senior seasons.
Just as stellar off the court, Horwitz is a four-time US Squash Scholar Athlete Award recipient and All Inter-Academic Squash Second Team recipient. She was also named a National Merit Scholarship Corporation Commended Scholar.

Kalgutkar was once ranked No. 1 in India in the 15-17 girls age group, boasting a victory of the Junior/Sub Junior National Squash Championships in 2012, competing for the Indian National team six years in a row (2011-2016), and a sixth-place finish at the Asian Junior Squash Championships in 2015. A phenomenal talent, Kalgutkar was also selected to represent the Indian Squash team at the 2016 Asian Juniors and at both the 2015 and 2016 World Junior Squash Championships.

A four-year varsity squash player at the Westminster School, Klein was sensational player for one of the top high school programs in the country. After playing at No. 2 position in her sophomore season, she played the No. 1 position in both her junior and senior seasons. Klein helped lead The Westminster Schools to capture a Division III High School Nation Championship in 2015-16.
Klein also boasts an AP Scholar with Distinction award, a US Squash Scholar Athlete Award, a National Merit Semifinalist and National Honor Society Member.

The Lions will welcome a highly experience player in Kothari, a two-time Vasant Valley Squash team captain. She has consistently maintained a national ranking in the top-8 in India for three years. Kothari was the 2014 Girls U17 Interschool Squash Tournament at Modern School Winner. She also posted notable performances at the 2014 Girls U19 Jaipur Open Tournament with a fifth-place finish, at the 2015 Girls U17 Hamdard Delton Open with a sixth-place finish, while representing her state of Delhi at the National Games in Trivandrum 2015.
Her Ivy League lineage runs deep as she becomes the sixth member of her family to join the Columbia family. She will join four cousins that are currently enrolled, including sophomore All-American Tanvi Khanna.

Luo comes to Morningside Heights as a highly decorated four-year player for The Baldwin School. Playing at the No. 2 position, Luo is a three-time first team All-MASA honoree and joins teammate Olivia Horowitz in bringing the pedigree of a 2015 National Championships and four MASA Championships to Columbia.
Individually, Luo also placed seventh at the 2014 U.S. Closed Championships and 10th at the 2015 U.S. Closed Championships. She is a three-time first team All-Inter-Academic honoree and four-time Scholar Athlete Award honoree. Luo is also the winner of the National Merit Scholarship.

Living in Mexico for the final months of her senior year, Martin decided to play junior tournaments and represent Veracruz, Mexico, in all national tournaments.
“During my time in Mexico, my aunt, Monica, passed away of Cancer. I decided to represent the state of Veracruz, where she was living before she became ill,” said Martin.
She championed a fourth-place finish at the Olimpiada Nacional, the Mexican Olympics, as the only player from Veracruz to qualify in the category and the No. 1 player in the state. Shea also represented Team USA (2011, 2012, 2014) in competition Canada and once in England for the British Junior Open.
