Earlier this year, ESPN and the Ivy League reached a comprehensive, 10-year deal for ESPN to become the exclusive national media rights partner for the conference, carrying more than 1,100 events annually from more than 30 sports on ESPN media platforms. The majority of these events are available exclusively in the United States on ESPN+, the new direct-to-consumer sports streaming service from The Walt Disney Company in partnership with ESPN. In addition, 24 Ivy League events are airing on ESPN's linear networks each year, including Columbia Football vs. Princeton (Sept. 28 – ESPNU), Columbia Women's Soccer vs. Princeton (Oct. 14 - ESPNU), Columbia Men's Soccer vs. Dartmouth (Oct. 19 - ESPNU), and the Ivy League men's and women's basketball postseason tournaments.

With this in mind, this exciting new partnership between the league and ESPN will necessitate changes to viewing habits of our most loyal fans who have grown accustomed to watching Columbia sports broadcasts on The Ivy League (Digital) Network over the past few years.

What has changed?
The Ivy League Network, formerly available at www.ivyleaguenetwork.com, which broadcast more than 100 Columbia sporting events each year, is no longer available. All Ivy League broadcasts beginning with the 2018-19 academic year will be available at www.espn.com/watch/espnplus in the United States. Alumni and fans in all other countries can watch games here.

How do I subscribe to ESPN+?
ESPN+ subscriptions are available via the ESPN App and ESPN.com, and fans can only access ESPN+ content after they have subscribed. To sign up, please click here: https://watch.espnplus.com/sports/

How much is an ESPN+ subscription?
You can get an ESPN+ subscription for $9.99 per month, or save over 15% with an ESPN+ Annual Plan at $99.99 per year. You can also bundle ESPN+ (With Ads) with Disney+ (With Ads) and Hulu (With Ads) for $12.99 per month. Learn more at disneyplus.com/priceinfo.

How do I watch ESPN+ broadcasts?
Subscribers can view ESPN+ via most any internet connected device, either in the Watch tab on the ESPN.com website or the latest version of the ESPN App. Content can be viewed on any laptop, desktop, mobile phone, tablet as well as OTT devices such as AppleTV, Roku, Chromecast and Amazon FireTV.

What is included with my ESPN+ subscription?
In addition to Ivy League events, ESPN+ subscriptions feature premium sports content, including select games from MLB, MLS, NHL, MLS, Italy's Serie A, numerous collegiate conferences and original ESPN programming, including the 30 for 30 documentary series. ESPN+ does not always include events and most programs originating on ESPN's existing, linear networks (which continue to be available via authenticated streaming via cable/ISP provider login).

How can I watch outside the U.S.?
Fans outside of the United States can click here to watch live events. While the many events will be available to international customers, not every contest in every sport will be available.

Can I watch through my Ivy League Network App on my mobile device or TV?
No, the Ivy League Network app is defunct. Please feel free to remove it from your device(s). ESPN+ can be accessed through the ESPN app, which can be downloaded at: http://www.espn.com/espn/apps/espn. Please note that most Smart TVs with the WatchESPN app pre-installed DO NOT include ESPN+ content at this time.

How do I access ESPN+ if I already have an account on the ESPN app?
To allow any of your devices to access ESPN+, sign in on that device with your ESPN.com account username and password.  If you have purchased ESPN+ via in-app purchasing on Apple, Google or Amazon devices, you can link your ESPN+ purchase to your ESPN.com account in the ESPN App before you can access ESPN+ on other devices platforms. You can create an ESPN.com account for free by clicking on the login link on ESPN.com.

Will all Columbia games now be on ESPN+?
No, while nearly every home game (and road games at Ivy League opponents) will be on ESPN+, a selection of contests will be made available on ESPN's linear networks (e.g. ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, etc.) and its cable/ISP-authenticated platform, ESPN3. In addition, other collegiate conferences have signed distribution deals with ESPN+, meaning that a significant number of non-league road games may be available on the service. That said, some road games will not be available on ESPN+. Check gocolumbialions.com for more information.

How can I watch games after the broadcast is over?
Replays of Columbia events on ESPN+ will be available for 30 days within the Watch ESPN app for valid subscribers. After 30 days, visit gocolumbialions.tv for archived broadcasts.

What about Columbia's new partnership with SNY?
Columbia is pursuing a number of broadcast opportunities for the coming season – including the possibility of a number of football and basketball contests airing locally on cable television. Announcements will be coming shortly.

What is GoColumbiaLions.TV?
As part of the redesigned gocolumbialions.com, powered by Sidearm, Columbia retains its own video portal, now available at gocolumbialions.tv. Gocolumbialions.tv provides highlights, features, previews and game archives – including select contests formerly broadcast by the Ivy League (Digital) Network.
