
Lions Earn Silver, Two Bronze, and Nine Top 32 Finishes

Columbia fencers return from the November NAC and Men's Foil World Cup in Germany with solid success.
MILWAUKEE - Columbia Fencing had solid performances this past weekend at the Junior NAC in Milwaukee and Men's Foil World Cup in Germany.
Claiming the top spots for the women, Daniella Timofeyev finishes top at third place in the junior women's sabre division. Timofeyev finished the first round strong with a +22. Also finishing strong for the women is fencer Nora Burke . Burke finished round one with +17 indicator.
Top finishers for the men include Joon Paik, placed third place and finished the first round with a +12 indicator. He concluded the match finishing 15-5 in the final round. James Bourtis came in at sixth place, eliminating John Maurer, scoring 15-9 in the final round.
The Lions look forward to their first regular season matchup against NYU on Nov. 14 at 5 p.m. EST.
