Columbia and the Mountain Hawks get under way at 4 p.m. on Morningside Heights
OPENING TIP-OFF
• Columbia went 1-1 at the Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament last weekend, falling to Rider before topping Central Connecticut State in the consolation game at Mohegan Sun Arena.
• The Lions return to Levien Gymnasium for the first time in four games. Columbia will head back on the road for three games before breaking for final exams.
• Mike Smith has scored 20 or more points in three consecutive games and in five of seven contests this season. Smith checks in at No. 2 in the Ivy League in scoring (20.1 PPG) and assists (4.7) and leads the Ancient Eight 3-point field goal percentage (48.6 percent).

LEHIGH'S STATUS
The Mountain Hawks went 0-2 during a recent West Coast trip, falling to Drake and Saint Mary's. James Karnik is posting 12.0 points and 7.1 rebounds. Jordan Cohen is posting 12.1 points per contest.
INSIDE THE SERIES
Columbia holds a 24-11 record all-time against Lehigh. The Lions have won the last three and five of the last six, including an 88-61 triumph on November 22, 2015 in Levien Gymnasium.
COLUMBIA VS. THE PATRIOT LEAGUE
Columbia has a rich history playing teams in the Patriot League. The Lions are 130-103 against teams currently in the conference. Columbia's most common opponent is Army, who they have faced 59 times. The Mountain Hawks are the second of three Patriot League foes on the slate.
