KOUVOLA, Finland — Columbia women's basketball alumna Camille Zimmerman '18CC was named the Naisten Korisliiga Player of the Month for November, as announced by the league on Tuesday.
Naisten Korisliiga is the premiere women's basketball league of Finland. Zimmerman is in her second season playing for the club Kouvottaret, where she averages 16.8 points and 9.5 rebounds through 11 games this season. Kouvottaret is currently tied for first place in the league at 10-1.
Zimmerman posted impressive marks to earn the November Player of the Month selection. She averaged 18.8 points, 10 rebounds and 3.8 assists to lead her team to a perfect 4-0 record through the month. Zimmerman had three double-doubles in those four games, including 23 points and 10 rebounds in a 94-68 victory over HBA-Märsky last Wednesday.

Zimmerman, a two-time First Team All-Ivy League selection and the 2016-17 All-Met Div. I Women's College Basketball Player of the Year, graduated Columbia in 2018 as the program's all-time leader in scoring and rebounding. She accumulated 1,973 points and 940 rebounds in four seasons and is also the single-season record holder in scoring (608 points, 22.5 points per game).
