No. 10 Lions Host Northwestern Sunday

Columbia men's tennis returns to the Dick Savitt Tennis Center Sunday to take on Northwestern at 1 p.m. ET
NEW YORK — The No. 10 Columbia men's tennis team returns home to the Dick Savitt Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon to face Big Ten foe Northwestern at 1 p.m. ET.
All six courts will stream live on ESPN3 and the Watch ESPN app.
Columbia (5-1) is coming fresh off a pair of top 15 victories at last weekend's ITA National Team Indoor Championship in Chicago. After falling 4-2 to top-ranked Wake Forest in the opening round, the Lions came back strong with a 4-2 victory over No. 11 Notre Dame and 4-1 triumph against No. 9 Baylor.
LIONS IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
Four Lions earned spots in the latest ITA singles rankings released on Feb. 20. Sophomore Jack Lin continues to lead the way, ranked No. 10 nationally, followed by No. 65 Victor Pham, No. 74 Adam Ambrozy and No. 89 Jackie Tang.
In doubles, Columbia's duo of William Matheson and Lin continued their streak of 12-straight polls being ranked, checking in at No. 5 for their highest ranking together. Lin pairs with Tang to form the No. 12 duo, while Tang and Ambrozy are ranked No. 38.
SCOUTING NORTHWESTERN
Northwestern (8-5) entered the ITA team rankings at No. 43 this week, having won five straight contests. Most recently, the Wildcats earned two wins in a double-header against Ball State and UIC on Feb. 17.
Columbia is 0-1 against Northwestern all time, with the last and only contest between the two coming on March 14, 2015, when the Wildcats claimed a 4-3 victory in Evanston.
ON DECK
Columbia will return to action March 2, returning home to the Dick Savitt Tennis Center to face SMU at 11 a.m. before hosting Tulane the following day at 1 p.m.
