Columbia Announces Nine Additions for 2019-20 Campaign

The Lions' heavyweight rowing team will welcome nine newcomers, hailing from five different states.
NEW YORK – Columbia Director of Rowing and Heavyweight Head Coach Scott Alwin has announced the addition of nine newcomers to the program for the 2019-20 season. The class of 2023 is comprised of student-athletes from five different states.
"We are incredibly excited about the incoming class of 2023," stated assistant coach and recruiting coordinator Nate Clark. "All nine of these rowers have displayed a deep love of the sport and tenacity surrounding training and competition. We expect them to contribute to creating more competitive and exciting training environments which should help them and the entire program continue moving forward in speed. There's no telling exactly what this group can help the program become, but we look forward to seeing what they're able to create over four years."
