NCAA Fencing Championships to Re-Air on ESPNU Wednesday

The 2019 Men's and Women's Fencing Championships will be televised nationally April 3, at 5 p.m. ET on ESPNU

NEW YORK – Fans will have a chance to re-live Columbia's 2019 NCAA national title run on Wednesday, April 3, as ESPNU will air a two-hour special on the 2019 NCAA Men's and Women's Fencing Championships at 5 p.m. ET.

Winning their third team crown in five years and first since winning back-to-back titles in 2015 and 2016, the Lions led wire-to-wire across the four-day event to claim the championship by 12 points and bring home Columbia's 16th national championship.

In addition to the team title, Columbia also took home two individual women's titles. Junior Anne Cebula (BC) earned the epee gold and sophomore Sylvie Binder claimed the foil championship.

ESPNU's two-hour show will feature the semifinal and final bouts along with other championships highlights.
