Chichi Ikwuazom has been named Ivy League Player of the Week, thanks to her solid weekend at Temple where she recorded a career-high 29 kills against Lehigh on her way to collecting 70 kills over three matches, while first-year
Kiara Robichaud was named to the Ivy League Honor Roll as the weekly awards for the week of Sept. 16 were announced by the Ivy League.

Ikwuazom becomes the first Lion to earn back-to-back Ivy League Player of the Week honors since 2017 when over the weeks of Oct. 23-30 then senior Anja Malesevic earned the honors. Over the weekend Ikwuazom was a force and her 29 kills against Lehigh were the fourth-most in a single match in school history.

On top of the 29 kills, she hit .522 with 115 total attacks over the three matches to help Columbia go 2-1 over the weekend. Nationally, Ikwuazom is first in kills per set at 5.95 and second in the country in points per set. While her hitting percentage of .481 places her 11th in the nation. Among the Ivy League, Ikwuazom is tops in attacks per set (10.50); points (144.0); points per set (6.55); total kills (131); hitting percentage and kills per set.

Robichaud, who has been strong for Columbia over the first two weekends, collected 37 kills over the three matches in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and had a career-high 18 kills against Radford. She hit .325 over the weekend and she was strong on the defensive end as well, collecting 17 digs, including a career-high seven against Radford, to play a key factor in Columbia's 2-1 weekend.
