Four Lions Open Fall Action at Ivy-Plus Tournament

Columbia men's tennis will send Jack Lin, Austen Huang, Ben Gollin and Jason Lui to copete in the event
NEW YORK — Four members of the Columbia men's tennis program will open up fall play this weekend, traveling to Princeton, New Jersey, to compete in the Farnsworth Ivy-Plus tournament at the Lenz Tennis Center, Sept. 20-22.
The Lions will send ninth-ranked junior Jack Lin, as well as junior Austen Huang, sophomore Jason Lui and sophomore Ben Gollin to compete in the three-day event.
All eight Ivy League teams will be represented at the tournament along with players from Buffalo, Indiana, Kentucky, Miami (Fla.), Michigan State, Penn State, SMU, Tennessee, Texas, and William & Mary.
The tournament will feature five 16-player singles draws and five eight-team doubles draws. Full list of draws are available here. Fans can follow updates on Twitter @PtonIvyPlus.
Action begins Friday with two rounds of doubles beginning at 9 a.m. ET and one round of singles beginning at noon. Saturday will feature two rounds of singles throughout the day beginning at 9 a.m. and Sunday the event will reach completion with one round of doubles at 9 a.m. and one round of singles starting at 9:45 a.m.
