Habiba Mohamed Earns First Team All-Ivy Honors

Columbia Women's Squash junior Habiba Mohamed has earned First Team All-Ivy League honors.
PRINCETON, N.J. – Columbia Women's Squash junior Habiba Mohamed (8-5), for the first time in her career, has been named First Team All-Ivy League as a part of the league's women's squash postseason awards as announced on Thursday, Feb. 20.
LEADING FROM THE FRONT: Mohamed has been at the top of Columbia's lineup all season long, playing the No. 1 spot in all 13 matches she has competed in, and her solid 8-5 record shows how strong she has been at the top. Over her last 10 matches, Mohamed is 6-4 and she ended the season on a three-match winning streak.
Against Ivy League competition, Mohamed went 5-2, and her last three wins, to end the season, have been against Ivy League foes, including wins against Anne Blasberg (Dartmouth), Jessica Davis (Penn) and Elle Ruggiero (Princeton). Mohamed's other Ivy League wins came against Alexa Jacobs (Brown) and Helen Teegan (Yale).
