Habiba Mohamed Named First Team Squash All-American

Mohamed becomes the first Lion to be named a First Team All-American.
NEW YORK – After a season which saw her earn First Team All-Ivy League honors for the first time in her career, Columbia Women's Squash junior Habiba Mohamed added to her trophy case after earning First Team All-American honors as announced by the College Squash Association on Tuesday, Mar. 24.
Having earned Second Team All-American honors following the 2018-19 season, Mohamed's First Team honors are the first time a Lion has earned First Team All-American honors in program history.
Mohamed went 12-10 overall during the season, playing primarily at the No. 1 spot for the Lions and was a force in the Ivy League, going 5-2 during the regular season in Ivy League matches. At the CSA Individual National Championships, Mohamed snagged herself a win in the first round of the Ramsay Bracket, taking down Stanford's Elena Wagenmans, 12-10, 11-3, 11-1, to solidify her spot among the top 10 in the country.
