Columbia Volleyball junior Noelle Foster earned Second Team All-Ivy League honors.
PRINCETON, N.J. — Following a season leading the Ivy League in total points and points per set, Columbia Volleyball junior Noelle Foster has been rewarded for her productive season earning Second Team All-Ivy League honors as part of the Ivy League's postseason awards.
This is the Lion junior's first postseason Ivy League honor. "Noelle has had a great season and myself and her teammates could not be more happy for her," said head coach Allison Keeley. "She has worked hard and been there all year, and her numbers reflect that. It is a well deserved honor."
Foster, who hails from Ashburn, Virginia, finished the season with 345.5 points and averaged 4.27 points per set. Both are career-highs along with topping the Ivy League. Foster also finished second in the league in kills per set and total kills with 315 total kills and averaging 3.89 kills per set.
Starting on Oct. 1 at Yale, Foster took off, and with 11 kills that night began a nine match stretch where she smashed at least 10 kills each night. She smashed a season and career-high 25 kills against Penn on Oct. 8 and had 183 total kills during the Ivy League season, while hitting .230 over the league stretch of matches.
