Columbia Concludes Successful OneROAR Campaign

The successful campaign served as a centralized all-purpose fund benefiting our more than 700 student-athletes

Columbia Athletics is pleased to announce that after a successful OneROAR Campaign, it is concluding it's special fundraising initiative for the 2020-21 academic year. The OneROAR Fund served as a centralized all-purpose fund benefiting our more than 700 student-athletes from 31 varsity sport programs and our department's administrative units.

"In a year that was marked by so much uncertainty we were able to honor our commitment to helping our student-athletes reach their highest levels of achievement," stated Campbell Family Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education Peter Pilling.

The OneROAR Fund ensured continued holistic support to student-athletes in areas such as tutoring, life-skills, and career development. Additionally, it served to maintain top-level recruiting operations and allowed for a safe return to phased athletic activities.

"Throughout my 18 years at Columbia I have been consistently amazed by the support of our Athletics Community," Erich Ely, Director of Athletics Development said. "The investment our alumni, parents, friends, and fans made in the OneROAR Fund this year was no different. I look forward to this momentum as we move into a promising year ahead."

This past year required us all to think differently about fundraising and how to best provide for our student-athletes. Thank you to everyone who invested in the OneROAR fund for your continued support and commitment to Columbia Athletics.
