The event is set to get started at 10:30 a.m on Friday. It's the second of three times Columbia will send a field of runners to VCP ahead of the Ivy League Cross Country Heps, which will also be held at VCP on Oct. 28. The Lions are coming off a weekend where they sent a collection of runners to the Paul Short Run, hosted by Lehigh. Penn comes into Friday on a 10-game losing streak, while Princeton has won eight in a row. The Lions enter the weekend searching for their first conference win. Last weekend, Columbia dropped two at home, taking on top-seeded Yale, before going up against the reigning Ivy League champs, Brown. On Friday against the Bulldogs, it was Saj McBurrows leading the way in kills with seven. On Saturday against the Bears, Kiara Robichaud got things going on offense with 11 kills.
