Updated Spectator and Venue Policies Announced

Effective February 7, Columbia University welcomes back spectators who meet University COVID-19 protocols

NEW YORKColumbia University Athletics announced that it is updating its spectator policies for all home events. All policies are in accordance with the University Task Force, city, and state health and safety guidelines.

Effective February 7, 2022, Columbia University has announced there will be no capacity restrictions on social gatherings and welcome back all spectators who meet the University-established COVID-19 spectator protocols to all home athletic events. All events prior to February 7th will adhere to a limited player and coaches pass list.

UNIVERSITY-ESTABLISHED COVID-19 SPECTATOR PROTOCOLS
All spectators in attendance, 5 years of age and older, must show full proof of vaccination to enter all Columbia Athletics venues.

For events February 7-27, proof of full vaccination shows spectators have received two vaccine doses, except for those who have received the one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

For events on & after February 28, proof of full vaccination also includes proof of a COVID-19 vaccine booster, if eligible. Click here for more information on eligibility for the COVID-19 booster.

Acceptable proof of their vaccination can be done in one of the following ways: Spectators must comply with Columbia University's masking policy. Cloth masks on their own no longer meet University standards for protection. Surgical masks are acceptable for entry. Evolving guidance recommends KF94, N95 and KN95 as the most effective in preventing Omicron.

Neck gaiters, buffs or masks with valves are NOT permitted.

There will be no concessions available at any Columbia Athletic events.
