No. 22 Men's Tennis Adds Navy to Spring Slate

Columbia will conclude out of conference play on Sunday.

NEW YORK -- Earlier this week , men's tennis head coach Howard Endelman announced the addition of the Naval Academy to No. 22 Columbia's spring season schedule. The Lions will host the Midshipmen on Sunday, April 3 at 3:00 P.M. at Lifetime Westchester. The match will mark Columbia's final out of conference tuneup before Ivy League play begins on April, 9 against Harvard.

There are several current COVID-19 protocols at LifeTime Westchester. Spectators for the event are limited to those on a pass list. Upon entry, members and guests are required to show proof of full vaccination when checking into the facility (ages 12 and up). For youth ages 5-11, one dose is required. Masks are mandatory as per Columbia University policy. LifeTime Westchester is located at 1 Westchester Park Drive, West Harrison, N.Y. 10604.

This season, the Naval Academy has produced an 18-8 record, most recently defeating Boston University 4-0 at home. Playing from the top spot, junior Finn Garner has amassed an 11-2 over the spring season. In the singles competition, Garner and brother Luke went undefeated in March (3-0), defeating the top teams from Temple, James Madison, and the University of DC. Competing out of the third position, Luke is enjoying an eight-match undefeated streak dating back to February 19.
