No. 25 Men's Tennis Travels to Brown and Yale for Weekend Matches

Columbia will face Brown on Saturday and Yale, Sunday.
NEW YORK -- Following a one-and-one weekend of Ivy League play, the No. 25 Columbia men's tennis team will travel to New England for a pair of weekend matches against Brown and Yale. First, the Lions will meet the Bears in Providence on Saturday at 1:00 P.M. before facing the Bulldogs in New Haven on Sunday at 1:00 P.M..
Last Sunday, Columbia swept Dartmouth to earn the first conference win of 2022, earning all six singles victories in straight sets. Based on the most recent ITA rankings, the Lions' top player, Alex Kotzen, ranks 16th nationally. Meanwhile, Max Westphal and Theo Winegar sit at 50th, boasting a 10-5 record from Columbia's first doubles court.
Brown sits at 0-3 in Ivy League play after dropping to Yale (1-6), Penn (0-4), and Princeton (0-4). Matthew Mu earned the Bears' lone singles victory over the three matches, defeating Yale's Aidan Reilly 7-6, 6-4.
Since opening conference play, Yale has defeated Brown (6-1) and fallen to Princeton (2-5) and Penn (2-5). The Bulldogs are led by their top player, #114 Michael Sun.
