#25 Men's Tennis Falls to #45 Penn on the Road

Quakers overcome Lions 4-3 in Philadelphia.
Philadelphia, PA -- Despite the Lions' best efforts, the #25 Columbia men's tennis team fell to #45 Penn 4-3 in Philadelphia. The Quakers went 3-0 in doubles play en route to securing an 11-0 record at home.
Playing from the second court, Hugo Hashimoto defeated Jason Hildebrandt in straight sets. The first-year grabbed the first set 6-2, before securing the victory 6-3. Classmate Max Westphal battled for a victory on the third court, defeating Aditya Gupta, 6-2, 3-6, 5-7.
From the fourth position Hennry Ruger collected yet another straight sets victory, defeating Kevin Zhu, 6-4, 6-3.
In a battle of ranked opponents, the Quakers #78 Edoardo Graziani toppled No, 17 Alex Kotzen (6-3, 4-6, 6-4).
Columbia returns home Sunday to host Princeton in Westchester at 1:00 P.M.
