Macy Pine Places Ninth in Platform Dive on Final Day of NCAA Zones

Pine is now a two-time NCAA Zone finalist

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. -- On the final day of the 2023 NCAA Zone Diving Championships, Macy Pine put on a show in the platform diving competition.

Pine, now a two-time NCAA zones finalist, placed ninth in this year's competition. After a great showing in the prelims, she had an average round score of 46.74 in the finals, totaling 451.00 points, to finish in ninth place in the prestigious competition.

"A very solid day for Macy," Head Diving Coach Scott Donie said. "She loves to dive platform and she was really enjoying the competition today. We were definitely in the race. I am very proud of how she performaed."

For those that advance, the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships will begin on March 24 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
