Sign Ups Open For Summer Fencing Camps

Head coach Michael Aufrichtig and the Lions’ coaching staff will host two weeks of camp in July
NEW YORK — Columbia fencing head coach Michael Aufrichtig will host two weeks of Lions Fencing Camp in July. Epee camp will run from July 17-20 followed by foil camp from July 24-27. Both sessions will take place in the Dodge Fitness Center and is open to any and all entrants aged 13-17.
Lions Fencing Camp is an opportunity for campers to learn a winning approach to competition preparation. Daily
sessions emphasize and teach tactical knowledge, competitive bout situation as well as emphasis on mental
preparation and competition training.
The program offers critical bouting situations, fencing specific Conditioning, sports psychology seminar, panel discussions, and college preparation.
Additionally, campers will have the chance to participate in panel discussions with World Team members and Columbia fencers.
Tuition is $975, which includes a t-shirt. Space is limited. To apply, click here.
