FAIRFAX, Va. — Columbia track & field finished up the outdoor portion of its schedule ver the weekend at the IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Championships as well as the Yale Last Chance Meet.
The Lions' highest finish at the ECAC Championships came from the women's 4x400m relay squad consisting of
Alexis Knight,
Sydney Goldson,
Kimmi Woods, and
Amara Onyeukwu. They finished with a time of 3:42.42 to take silver.
The highest individual finish at the ECAC Championships came from
Mary Caroline Heinen who finished seventh in the 500m run with a time of 17:04.21.

Meanwhile, Columbia also had some solid performances at the Yale Last Chance meet in Connecticut.
The highlight of the meet came in the shot put, when
Obiora Okeke took first place with a mark of 17.74m.
Yoosang Kim came in second with a mark of 16.60m, while
Kayla-Rae Gordon placed second on the women's side with a mark of 9.40m.
Olivia Schmitt and
Gavin White both had fourth place finishes in the 800m run and 3000m steeplechase, respectively.

NCAA Eastern prelims begin on Wednesday, May 24 at 3 p.m. in Jacksonville, Florida.
