Student-Athletes Recognized at 2023 Academic Achievement Ceremony

A total of 477 student-athletes garnered honors for academic achievement during Spring 2022 and Fall 2022 semesters.
NEW YORK—Columbia University Athletics recognized 452 Dean's List and 155 student-athletes for achieving a perfect 4.0 term grade point average in its Academic Achievement Ceremony which was held on Tuesday, May 2.
Hosted by Columbia Athletics' Success Through Well-Being department, the 2023 Academic Achievement Ceremony brought together student-athlete honorees, coaches, department staff, University constituents, and alumni guests for special recognition of the academic excellence achieved by Columbia student-athletes.
The event featured a total of 477 student-athletes from all 31 varsity sports programs and four undergraduate colleges that achieved Dean's List and 4.0 status. Additionally, 95 student-athletes were inducted into the 4.0 club.
All student-athletes honored at the event represented spring 2022 and fall 2022 semesters. The list of all honorees is posted in the event program.
"We are incredibly proud to continue to have such a high number of honorees at this ceremony," Campbell Family Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Peter Pilling said. "We all know the dedication it takes to be a Division I student-athlete in the Ivy League and we are grateful to be able to celebrate their accomplishments."
