AUSTIN, TEXAS —
Victoria Patterson's miraculous 2022-23 season came to an end on Thursday night, as the track star finished in 18th place at the NCAA Championships in the 3000m steeplechase.
Patterson finished the semifinals with a time of 10:05.68, missing out on qualifying for the NCAA finals by 13 seconds and six places.
Kaylee Mitchell of Oregon State took first in Patterson's heat with a time of 9:51.46. Calli Doan of Liberty received the final qualifying bid after finishing 12th with a time of 9:52.15.
