
Rowing Alumni Alex Hedge and Charlotte Buck Selected to USRowing National Teams

NEW YORK — Columbia rowing alumni Alex Hedge '19CC and Charlotte Buck '18CC were selected to the USRowing senior national teams.
Hedge and Buck will represent the United States at the 2023 World Rowing Championships September 3-10 in Belgrade, Serbia.
Buck returns to the women's eight lineup that finished fourth at last year's world championships. The Nyack, New York native reached the semifinals of The Remenham Challenge Cup in the eight at the 2022 Henley Royal Regatta and finished fourth in the four at the 2022 World Rowing Cup II. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, Buck finished fourth in the eight.
Hedge is a first time senior team member. At Columbia, the Morristown, New Jersey native rowed at the stroke positions for the Varsity Eight in the EARC Sprints and IRA National Championships his senior year. Hedge rowed with the Varsity Eight for three years and was a member of the 2016 IRA All-Academic Team.
