Geronimo Rubio De La Rosa Named to Bracketeer.Org All-American Watch List

The senior guard is one of 68 players on the list
OAKLAND, Calif. — Columbia men's basketball senior guard Geronimo Rubio De La Rosa has been named to the Bracketeer.Org Non-Power Conference All-American Watch List, Bracketeer.Org announced on Thursday.
Rubio De La Rosa played in 25 games and made 24 starts in 2023-24, averaging a team-best in points per game (14.4) for the second straight season and led Columbia in minutes per game (30.8), field goals made (116), three-pointers made (57), and steals (41).
In February, Rubio De La Rosa became the 30th Lion in program history to score 1,000 points and the 16th to do so in his first three seasons. Heading into his senior campaign, the Santiago, Dominican Republic native, is 21st on Columbia's all-time scoring list.
Eligible conferences for the first-year award include: America East, ASUN, Big Sky, Big South, Big West, CAA, Conference USA, Horizon League, Ivy League, MAAC, MAC, MEAC, MVC, NEC, OVC, Patriot League, SoCon, Southland, SWAC, Summit League, Sun Belt, WAC.
Bracketeer.Org is committed to delivering wide-ranging recognition and coverage to all 31 conferences across College Basketball. The Non-Power Conference Watch List has identified 68 players who were considered for the three All-American Teams and includes players poised to be all-conference level players across each of the 22 eligible conferences. Regardless of position, any player on an active roster can be considered a preseason All-American.
