Squash Hosts Williams Sunday

Action is set to begin at 2 p.m. Sunday
NEW YORK – The Columbia men's and women's squash teams return to action Sunday at 2 p.m. to host Williams at the SL Green Streetsquash Center in Harlem.
Sunday's contests against Williams will be the final matches of 2024 for the men's and women's teams. The Lions will have a month off before returning to the court to open Ivy League play against Harvard on Saturday, January 11.
MATCH COVERAGE
All matches this weekend will be streamed live though the Columbia Stretch portal. Video from the men's matches can be viewed HERE and video from the women's matches can be viewed HERE. Live scores for all matches will be available through Club Locker.
COLUMBIA IN THE RANKINGS
The Columbia men's squash sits at No. 8 in the College Squash Association rankings with a 2-1 overall record so far this season. Williams is also 2-1 overall and is ranked No. 11.
The Columbia women's squash team is ranked No. 9 in the CSA rankings with a 1-2 record to start the season. Williams sits at No. 14 on the women's side with a 1-2 overall mark.
THE LAST TIME OUT
Columbia plays at home for its third straight match after playing two home matches on the weekend before Thanksgiving. The men finished the weekend with wins over No. 10 Tufts and No. 15 Rochester. The women went 1-1 for the weekend with a dominant 7-2 win against 13th-ranked Tufts before falling to No. 5 Stanford.
PREVIEWING THE OPPONENT
The Williams men's team is 2-1 this season with wins against Western Ontario and Hamilton College. Williams' lone loss came against Cornell. On the women's side, Williams owns a 1-2 overall record that includes a win over Hamilton College in their most recent match. Williams fell to Stanford and Cornell in the first two contests of the season.
