NEW YORK — The Columbia indoor track and field team competed at the 2023-24 METS Indoor Championships on Friday afternoon at Ocean Breeze in Staten Island. 
On the men's side, 
Justin Gottlieb won the 800m run with a time of 1:54.48. 
On the women's side, it was 
Naomi Toft who earned a win in the 1000m with a time of 2:53.53. 
Other top performers for the women include 
Sydney Goldson who took third in the 500m with a time of 1:17.06 and 
Jessica Thompson who secured second in the pole vault with a mark of 3.50m. Additionally, the distance medley relay team took first with a time of 12:15.25. 
Other top performers for the men include 
Tyler Tubman who took third in the 1000m with a time of 2:29.37. 
Parker Kim took third in the weight throw with a mark of 17.66m.
