STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Columbia fencing will head into next weekend's Ivy League Championships on a high note after combining for six dominant victories at the Brian Palestis Memorial, hosted by Wagner on Sunday. Both squads topped Wagner, Lafayette and Drew.

On the men's side, the Lions competed with just two regular sabre fencers, but Nick Harvey and Trenton Schmitt fared well, combining to go 15-3 on the day.
Men's foil started the day with an 8-1 triumph over the Seahawks to lift Columbia to an 18-9 victory. All three women's squads had strong showings in a 20-7 victory.
