Lions race in a pair of Final 3s on Sunday

WEST WINDSOR, N.J. — Columbia heavyweight rowing wrapped up the 121st annual Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships at Mercer Lake on Sunday.

The heavyweight varsity 8+ boat placed second in the Final 3 with a time of 5:45.476, just 2.8 seconds behind Cornell.

The second heavyweight varsity 8+ boat raced in a Final 3 as well. Columbia placed third with a time of 5:52.203, finishing three seconds behind first-place Stanford.
