NEW YORK — Columbia track & field, men's swimming & diving, men's squash, women's squash and fencing are featured in this week's edition of Lions on the Road. Every week, GoColumbiaLions.com will be using "Lions on the Road" to preview that week's upcoming games and events happening off campus.
TRACK & FIELD
MEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING
Men's swimming and diving will close out the regular season on Saturday with one final Ivy meet against Dartmouth in New Hampshire. Last time out, In a meet that came down to the final relay, the Lions fell by just six points to the Navy Midshipmen. Stephen Zhukov had a great day, getting things started with a win in the 1000 free which was the first individual event of the day. His time of 9:16.64 was three seconds better than the rest of the field. Later in the day, he won the 500 free with a time of 4:31.65. Adam Wu also won two events, with the first being the 200 free thanks to a time of 1:37.28. He would go on to win the 200 fly with a time of 1:48.80. Dartmouth comes into Saturday with a 2-8 record, and 0-4 mark in conference meets. Most recently, the Big Green were defeated by the Yale Bulldogs, 192-108.

Track and Field returns to Ocean Breeze this weekend for the METS Indoor Championships in Staten Island. The Lions are fresh off the Dr. Sander Scorcher at the Armory, where on day one in the women's 800m, Lucy Henkel set a new program record with a time of 2:05.62. Obiora Okeke set a new program record in the indoor shot put on day two with a mark of 18.61m. Joshua Adams also set a program record in the indoor long jump, with a mark of 7.52m. Columbia will look to continue this momentum into the new weekend.

Women's squash returns to team action this weekend after the CSA Individual Championships wrapped up earlier this week. Simmi Chan made a run to the semifinals before falling in five games. The Lions will head to Trinity on Saturday for a 1:30 p.m. contest. Columbia then wraps up the weekend with an Ivy League matchup at Yale on Sunday at 12 p.m. Columbia sits at 3-5 overall with a 1-3 mark in Ivy action.

MEN'S SQUASH
Men's squash is back in action as a team this weekend after completing action at the CSA Individual Championships last weekend. Columbia will face two top five opponents in No. 4 Trinity and No. 3 Yale on the road this weekend. The Lions will get the weekend started with a 1:30 p.m. contest at Trinity on Saturday. The Lions wrap up the weekend trip with a 12 p.m. start at Yale on Sunday. Columbia is 4-4 overall this season with a 1-3 mark in Ivy action.

FENCING
Fencing has one final tuneup before the Ivy League Round Robins at the Brian Palestis Memorial, hosted by Wagner on Sunday. The Lions are coming off a dominant showing at the Penn State Invitational, with the women going 6-0, while the men went 5-for-5 in their contests. The women improved to 22-1 in dual matches, and the men moved to 19-2. Ethan Kushnerik paced the men with an 11-1 record in epee, while Jackson McBride was 11-4 in sabre. For the women, Zander Rhodes went a perfect 12-0 and Carolina Stutchbury was 11-1 in foil, and Sumin Lee posted a 10-2 mark in epee.
