Connor Igoe Tabbed Ivy League Rookie of the Week

The first-year had a team-high and career-best 16 points on Sunday at Cal

PRINCETON, N.J. — Columbia men's basketball first-year forward Connor Igoe was named Ivy League Rookie of the Week, the conference announced on Monday afternoon.

Igoe poured in a team-high and career-best 16 points in Sunday's game at California in 21 minutes of action off the bench. The Brooklyn, N.Y. native shot 7-of-11 from the floor and grabbed four rebounds.

Columbia (9-3) has earned Ivy League awards in three straight weeks. Igoe is the second Lion to garner Ivy League Rookie of the Week, along with Miles Franklin (Nov. 10 and Dec. 8).

The Lions travel to Jacksonville to play at North Florida on Sunday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m. for the teams' first-ever matchup.
