Columbia wraps up the regular season with a pair of victories

NEW YORK – The Columbia men's and women's squash teams picked up wins Sunday at home for senior day to close out the regular season. The men's team defeated Western Ontario, 8-1, while the women defeated Georgetown, 8-1.

MEN'S RECAP
No. 8 Columbia cruised to an 8-1 win over No. 13 Western Ontario to close out the regular season on Sunday. The Lions improve to 6-7 overall after ending the regular season with a win. Shauya Bawa, Arhan Chandra, Yusuf Sheikh, Zach Nam, Imad Athar, Tommy Soltanian, Paarth Ambani and Adam Goad posted individual victories to lead Columbia to the team win.

WOMEN'S RECAP
Ninth-ranked Columbia ended the regular season on a good note by defeating No. 15 Georgetown, 8-1 on Sunday. Simmi Chan, Nourin Khalifa, Amal Izhar, Kaavya Bansal, Andreea Ghiorghisor, Adivta Sharma, Sophia Hu and Renee Chan earned individual wins to lead Columbia to the team victory.
