Women's Swimming & Diving Finishes Up at Boston Winter Open

Lion relays shine in tune up before Ivies later this month
BOSTON, Mass. — The Lions made the trip up to Boston this weekend to compete in the Boston Winter Open. It was a non-scoring meet, but provided one final tune up for Columbia ahead of Ivies later this month. The Lion relays really shined in the meet.
The first relay to win was the 400-free relay team, consisting of Annabelle Kung, Annabel Cui, Kayla Zeng, and Hayley Reed who finished with a time of 3:29.73.
The 200 medley relay team also took first, as the team of Grace Zhou, Taylor Whang, Kung, and Audrey Wolk touched the wall at 1:44.73.
The 400 medley relay squad closed out the meet with a win, finishing with a time of 3:51.12
Kung had the Lions' lone individual win of the weekend, taking first in the 200 fly with a time of 2:01.90.
Zeng had a great weekend, taking second place in the 500 free with a time of 5:02.08 and second place in the 200 back with a time of 2:02.45. She also placed third in the 400 IM at 4:31.67.
Zhou took second in the 200 IM at 2:06.69.

The Ivy League Championships will begin on Wednesday, February 19 at Princeton.
