NEW YORK – Joshua Corn and
Will Cooley represented the Lions at the 2025 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships.
This year's competition, which wrapped up on Saturday, took place at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, Washington. Both Corn and Cooley competed on Saturday, in the 200 breast and platform diving events, respectively.
Corn finished in 29th place in the 200 breast, with a near personal-best time of 1:52.89. He was also invited to compete in the trials of the 100 breast, where he finished 41st overall.
"Josh had a really solid swim for his first effort on Friday," Head Coach
Jim Bolster said. "His time was his second fastest effort ever and a great way to kickoff his NCAA experience. The meet is the fastest meet in the world and to be competitive in his first race was a great start for Josh!"
Cooley placed 43rd in the platform dive, tallying a score of 223.75.
"We had an outstanding experience here at the NCAA's," Head Diving Coach
Scott Donie said. "It wasn't our day in the competition, but it's an absolute honor to represent Columbia on the biggest stage in collegiate diving and we will be back!"
