Event takes place Friday in Tampa ahead of Women’s Final Four
TAMPA, Fla. – Columbia women's basketball senior Kitty Henderson has been invited to the inaugural Lilly Women's College All-Star Game Combine, which will take place Friday morning, April 4, at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Florida.
The combine will feature approximately 30 players taking part in on-court drills, measurement and testing to provide draft-level prospects one final opportunity to showcase their talents to professional scouts ahead of the WNBA Draft on April 14. Representation from all 13 WNBA teams is expected.
The Lilly Women's College All-Star Game will take place on Saturday. Nearly all of the Women's College All-Star Game participants will take part in the combine, as well as nine additional players who received an exclusive invitation. Henderson is one of the nine additional invitees. A full list of 2025 Women's College All-Star Game and Women's College All-Star Combine participants can be viewed here.
Henderson's invitation comes following a senior year in which she set new Columbia single-season records in assists (150) and steals (78). She averaged 13.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.5 steals per game, and also shot 45.2 percent from the floor. On February 28, she recorded the second triple-double in program history with 19 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in a win over Brown. The point guard was named the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year and was a unanimous First Team All-Ivy League selection. She was also a two-time Associated Press Honorable Mention Player of the Week, named to the NCAA Starting Lineup of the Week once and was a four-time Ivy League Player of the Week.
A native of the Sydney suburb of North Curl Curl, Australia, Henderson completed her collegiate career with 1,350 points, 703 rebounds, 494 assists and 194 steals. She is the only player in Ivy League history to amass those numbers, and ranks seventh in Ivy League history in career assists. A three-time Ivy League champion, Henderson led the Lions to their first NCAA Tournament win in March, defeating Washington, 63-60, in the First Four.
