Women’s crew takes third in Varsity C Four
PENNSAUKEN, N.J & WORCESTER, Mass. — All three Columbia rowing teams were in action this weekend as the women's team raced at the Ivy League Championship Saturday and Sunday at Cooper River in Pennsauken, N.J., while the heavyweights and lightweights competed at the EARC Championships on Sunday at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass.
Six Columbia boats in the Ivy League Championships reached a final. Columbia's Varsity C Four crew earned a third place finish and a bronze medal with a time of 7:19.071.
Bryn Dittrich received First Team All-Ivy and Hope Gelfand garnered Second Team All-Ivy. The full Ivy League Championships results can be found by clicking here.
The Columbia lightweight third varsity eight boat won the petite final over Yale with a time of 6:14.226. The second varsity eight crew reached the grand final and finished in sixth place.
Columbia's heavyweight first varsity eight boat earned a victory in the third final over Navy and Holy Cross, recording a time of 5:52.603. The full EARC Sprints results can be found by clicking here.
