Lightweight and Heavyweight Rowing Complete Day Two of IRA National Championships

The lightweight 2V8 crew will race in Final 1 on Sunday
CAMDEN, N.J. — Columbia lightweight and heavyweight rowing raced three boats on day two at the IRA National Championships on Saturday at Cooper River.
Columbia's lightweight 4+ crew competed in the Final 1 in the afternoon but placed sixth at 6:35.450. The Lions' heavyweight 1V8 boat raced to a third place finish in the semifinal CD with a time of 5:37.880. Rounding out action was the heavyweight 2V8 in a semifinal CD. The Lions finished third as well with a time of 5:47.790. Both heavyweight crews will race in a Final 3 on Sunday morning.
