Primetime Calls For Football As Lions Unveil 2025 Slate

The defending Ivy League Champs will play on Friday night four times, including three games on ESPNU

NEW YORK — Columbia Football has released its full schedule for the 2025 season, highlighted by four Friday night contests, including three set to air as part of the Ivy League's ESPNU national television package. The remainder of the games will air on ESPN+.

The Lions kick off the 10-game campaign on Friday, September 19, with a 6 p.m. road matchup at Lafayette. Columbia's primetime appearances continue with Ivy League games at Princeton (October 3, 7 p.m.), Dartmouth (October 24, 6 p.m.), and a home showdown under the lights against Harvard (November 7, 7 p.m.) at Robert K. Kraft Field at Wien Stadium.

Columbia's home opener is scheduled for September 27, at noon, when the Lions host Georgetown for the Lou Little Cup. After opening Ivy League play on the road at Princeton, the Lions return home to close out non-conference play against Lehigh on October 11 at noon.

Homecoming Weekend is slated for October 18, with Columbia taking on Penn for a 1:30 p.m. showdown. The Lions follow that with back-to-back road games at Dartmouth and Yale (November 1) before returning home to face Harvard in a nationally televised week eight contest.

Columbia faces Brown on Senior Day on Saturday, November 15, at noon. The season wraps up in Ithaca, where the Lions square off against Cornell on November 22 in the Empire State Bowl.

For the first time, the Ivy League champion will receive an automatic berth to the FCS Playoffs, which begin the weekend of November 28. Ivy League teams will also be eligible for at-large selections.
