Solari Etcheberry recently won a bronze medal with Team Chile at the Junior Pan American Games
Colorado Springs, Colo. — Columbia field hockey sophomore Jacinta Solari Etcheberry has been named to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Watchlist, powered by Performance Sports Events (PSE).
Solari Etcheberry was an All-Ivy League Second Team selection last season, netting three goals and starting all 16 matches in 2024 as a first-year. The Santiago, Chile native won a bronze medal with Team Chile at the Junior Pan American Games in Paraguay earlier this month.
The NFHCA Division I Watchlist is intended to showcase those field hockey student-athletes with the strongest potential for consideration to the current year's NFHCA All-Region and All-American teams. To be nominated for the 2025 NFHCA Watchlist, student-athletes must have been previously recognized for their outstanding field hockey abilities within the past two years (NFHCA All-Region, NFHCA All-American, All-Conference, Senior Nexus Championship selection, NCAA All-Tournament Team, and/or U.S. National or International Team roster) and nominated by their NFHCA member coach.
The NFHCA All-Region and All-American teams will be announced Dec. 3 and Dec. 16, respectively.
Columbia opens the 2025 season on Friday, Sept. 5 at UAlbany.
