Jacinta Solari Etcheberry Named Second Team All-Ivy League; Margot Houle Earns Honorable Mention

Solari Etcheberry garners Second Team for the second straight year; Petrucco receives Academic All-Ivy nod
PRINCETON, N.J. — Columbia field hockey forward Jacinta Solari Etcheberry was named Second Team All-Ivy League and goalkeeper Margot Houle was tabbed Honorable Mention, the conference announced on Wednesday afternoon. Sam Petrucco was Columbia's Academic All-Ivy recipient.
Solari Etcheberry started all 15 games this season and led the team with six goals and 17 points. The sophomore from Santiago, Chile, also led the Lions in shots on goal (20) and recorded two game-winning goals (Oct. 5 vs. Hofstra and Oct. 19 vs. Wagner). Solari Etcheberry was tied for the team lead in assists as well.
Houle started all 15 games this season and led the Ivy League in saves (102) and saves per game (6.73). The sophomore from Potomac, Md., recorded two shutouts on the year (Sept. 5 at UAlbany and Oct. 19 vs. Wagner). Houle tallied a career-best 13 saves on Sept. 26 vs. Brown.
Petrucco started all 15 games and recorded an assist. The senior captain from Short Hills, N.J. registered three shots with one on goal.
