Men’s Squash Announces Incoming Class

Lions add three newcomers for the 2025-26 season

NEW YORK – Columbia men's quash is pleased to announce the addition of three newcomers to the 2025-26 roster on Thursday, as announced by Kenneth W. Torrey Head Squash Coach Chris Sachvie. Joining the Lions are first-years Muhammad Ahmad, Sam Du, and Faazil Khan.

"We are very excited to welcome the Class of 2029," Sachvie said. "Our seven new first years (three men and four women) represent five different countries and bring with them a wealth of experience playing at the highest levels individually and for their respective countries in international competition. Both the men's and women's teams return eight of the top nine players from last year's national team championships, and we expect all of our first years to be competing for starting roles, adding depth and a lot of competition for coveted top nine spots."
