Cardinal takes all nine contested matches in home matchup
NEW YORK — The 13th-ranked Columbia women's squash dropped a 9–0 decision to No. 3 Stanford, as the Cardinal captured each position across the ladder inside SL Green Streetsquash on Friday.
Stanford opened with a straight-set win at No. 1, where Amelie Haworth defeated Yeheni Kuruppu, before adding victories at No. 2 and No. 3 behind Zhi Xuan Goh and Mariana Narvaez Dardon. Riya Shankaran and Madison Ho extended the lead with 3–0 wins at No. 4 and No. 5.
The Cardinal continued to control play in the bottom half of the lineup. Tiana Parasrampuria, Valerie Kaitlyn Huang, and Khushi Kukadia each earned straight-set victories at Nos. 6–8. At No. 9, Cynthia Yu claimed the opening game before Stanford's Avery Park responded to win in four. Gracia Chua Rui En closed the match with a three-game win at No. 10.
