Rowing Programs Announce 2026 Schedules

Women open on March 21; Lightweight gets underway March 28; Heavyweight begins March 29
NEW YORK — Columbia Director of Rowing and heavyweight head coach Tom Terhaar, lightweight head coach Nich Lee Parker, and women's head coach Emerson Curry have announced the 2026 schedules for each program.
Women's rowing starts the 2026 campaign with a tri-race against Miami and Central Florida on March 21 in the Sunshine State. On April 4, Columbia hosts Notre Dame, Navy, and Princeton at Overpeck Park.
The following weekend on April 11-12, the Lions will host Northeastern and Rhode Island on Saturday and Brown on Sunday. Columbia will race in the Eastern Sprints in Worcester, Mass. on May 2. The Ivy League Championship in Camden, N.J. takes place on May 16-17 with the NCAA Championships down in Lake Lanier, Ga., occurring May 29-31.
Heavyweight rowing opens March 29 against Drexel at Overpeck Park. Columbia travels to Princeton for the Childs Cup on April 11 to race against the Tigers, Penn, and Stanford. On April 18, the Lions take on Yale and Penn in New Haven, Conn.
The following weekend of April 25-26 in Vermont, Columbia will race against Dartmouth, Boston U, and Georgetown. The Lions then head to Worcester, Mass. on May 17 for the EARC Sprints before the IRA National Championship May 29-31 in Gold River, Calif.
Lightweight rowing opens its 2026 season on March 28 at Overpeck Park for the National Collegiate Lightweight Invite. On April 11, Columbia visits New Haven, Conn. for the Dodge Cup against Yale and Penn.
Columbia travels to Dartmouth on May 2 for the Subin Cup before going to the Eastern Sprints in Worcester, Mass on May 17. The 2026 campaign wraps up May 29-31 at the IRA Championships in Gold River, Calif.
