Lions looking to get back into the win column
NEW YORK - The 33rd-ranked Columbia men's tennis team returns to the Philip & Cheryl Milstein Family Tennis Center on Sunday when it hosts Bryant. Sunday's match against the Bulldogs is scheduled to take place outdoors with a 1 p.m. start.

LIONS IN THE ITA RANKINGS
In the latest ITA rankings, the Lions fell to No. 33. Columbia is one of six teams from the Ivy League ranked in the top-50. Cornell checks in at No. 29, followed by Princeton at No. 31. Yale sits at No. 37, followed by Penn (No. 44) and Harvard (No. 48).
LAST TIME OUT
Over spring break, the Lions had a rough time out west. Columbia opened their trip with a 6-1 loss at the hands of No. 15 Arizona in Tucson. They followed that up with a 6-1 loss to No. 18 San Diego in San Diego. The highlight of the two matches was Michael Zheng's thrilling win over No. 3-ranked singles player Jay Friend of Arizona.
SCOUTING BRYANT
Bryant enters Sunday's contest 3-14 overall and has lost nine in a row. Last time out, they fell to Brown 7-0 on the road on March 21. Miguel Angel Machado is 15-9 this year and 10-5 this spring, playing at the No. 1 spot for the Bulldogs. Last time out, he fell to The Bears' Ivan Sodan 6-4, 5-7 (7-10).

Sunday will be the fourth meeting between these two teams, with Columbia owning a 3-0 lead in the series. The last time these two teams faced was on April 1, 2023, when Columbia defeated Bryant 7-0.
