No. 49 Women’s Tennis Sweeps Dartmouth on the Road

Lions finish second in the Ivy League play at 5-2
HANOVER, N.H. – The 49th-ranked Columbia women's tennis team got back into the win column with a 4-0 victory over No. 62 Dartmouth at the Boss Tennis Center on Sunday.
With the win, the Lions improve to 15-5 in duals and finish in second place in the Ivy League at 5-2. The 15 wins are the third most wins in a season in the last 13 years.
Columbia rallied back to clinch the doubles point with wins on court No. 3 and No. 1. Emily Baek and Sophia Wang earned a 6-3 win over Josephine Lombardi and Elise Wong to tie the doubles point up.
The Lions' duo of Gayathri Krishnan and Sabrina Lin clinched the point with a 7-5 win over Peyton Capuano and Michaela Moore.
With the doubles point secured, Amber Yin kept the momentum squarely in the Lions' favor with a straight-sets win over Lomboardi, 6-3, 6-2 on court No. 6.
Sophia Wang made it 3-0 in favor of Columbia with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Alex Orlins on court No. 3.
Michelle Li clinched it with a 7-6, 7-6(5) win over Lauren Han on Court No. 4.
With the regular season concluded, the Lions will await their postseason fate. The 2026 NCAA Women's Tennis Selection Show will announce the NCAA tournament field on Monday, April 27, at 4:30 p.m. ET. The selection show will be broadcast on NCAA.com.
