Zheng defeats Nicolas Mejia in four sets
WIMBLEDON – Columbia men's tennis alum Michael Zheng (CC26) has advanced to the round of 32 at Wimbledon following a four-set win over Colombia's Nicolas Mejia, 6(4)-7(7), 7(10)-6(8), 6-1, 6-4.

The Monteville, N.J., native and two-time NCAA singles champion tallied 20 aces and won 79 percent of points on his first serve.
Break points also played a crucial role in Zheng's victory. Mejia went 0-for-12 on break point opportunities, while Zheng converted 4-of-8 break points.
Mejia, who advanced to the second round following a four-set win over Adolfo Daniel Vallejo of Paraguay.
